How to Downgrade Nexus 5 Android Version 5.0 to Android 4.0

Today i am going to show you how to downgrade our NEXUS 5 android version 5.0 lollipop to 4.4.4 KitKat, by using easy and simple method we can achieve our older android version back, all you need is, 1 data cable, which we need to connect our mobile Nexus 5 to computer/laptop, so i show you to these some steps for downgrading version.

To make sure on which android version you are, simple go to “setting” and swap up to “About Phone” and from there you can know your android version.

Downgrade Nexus 5 Android Version 5.0:

1/ Turn Off your Nexus 5

2/ Hole the “Volume UP and Down + Power Button” at same time, to get enter into bootloader.

3/ You will see “Android” on your screen, that means now you are in bootloader.

4/ Connect your Mobile to your computer/laptop via Data Cable.

5/ Download one software by clicking here  and extract files to your desktop.

6/ After extracting files, there is also one more folder you will see with name “USB DRIVER”

7/ Right click on computer, and click on “Manage” then “Device Manager” and verify “Android boot interface” there, if you see there yellow triangle sign on that driver, then right click on that and “Update Driver Software” and “Browse my computer” and then give location of “USB Driver” the folder which you got after extracting the downloaded file.

 

8/ After that, go back to extracted folder which is like (Android > Nexus 5 > UnbootNexus 5), from there you will see one file name with “FLASH-ALL.BAT” double click on that, and hit “RUN”, now it will start old bootloader on our NEXUS 5, while booting NEXUS 5 will restart few times, make sure you have 50% charging in your mobile while doing all these type act.
